What can I expect in an evaluation?

You will have an opportunity to speak to your therapist prior to the evaluation, so you can share important details.  The evaluation takes place at Function Junction, and will last approximately an hour.  You are encouraged to stay for the duration of testing, unless you feel your presence will negatively impact your child's performance.  Please discuss any concerns with your therapist.

Is any therapy covered by my insurance?

Yes, Occupational Therapy is covered under most insurance policies. Check your policy for:

• amount covered per session
• number of sessions covered
• when policy year runs
• if doctor's referral is required

Function Junction will handle the processing of those plans that qualify.  **If you have overseas coverage, Function Junction requests that you pay in full and claim back on your insurance yourself.
